Hudson Pharma is proud to introduce LEVHALE, which is the first and only levalbuterol bronchodilator nebulizing solution in Pakistan.
Levhale is a short-acting beta-agonist used during asthma attacks for immediate symptomatic relief. It is taken when needed to relax the tightened muscles around the airway passages and relieve shortness of breath.
Levhale acts within minutes to rapidly ease bronchospasm symptoms with duration of action lasting for up to 8 hours.
Each 3mL respule is preservative-free and contains 0.63mg levalbuterol HCl. It is available in a pack of 20 respules.
Levhale is intended for nebulization only.
Product Information
Indications
For the treatment or prevention of bronchospasms in adults, adolescents, and children with reversible obstructive airway disease.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levalbuterol or salbutamol.

Additional Information/ Precautions
Other short-acting sympathomimetic aerosol bronchodilators or epinephrine should be used with caution with levalbuterol.

Exacerbations of Asthma (acute, severe)**
0.075mg/kg (min dose 1.25mg) every 20 minutes for 3 doses, then 0.075mg-0.15mg/kg (max 5mg) every 1-4 hours as needed
1.25mg-2.5mg every 20 minutes for 3 doses, then 1.25mg-5mg every 1-4 hours as needed
