Each 2mL respule® contains 500mcg of ipratropium bromide.
Available in a pack of 5 respules®.
For nebulization only and not to be injected.
Product Information
Indications
Prevention and treatment of shortness of breath in patients with:
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Chronic Bronchitis
Mild to moderate asthma
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ipratropium or atropine.
Adverse Effects
Headache.
Dizziness.
Dry mouth.
Additional Information/ Precautions
Administration via nebuliser is intended for use in infants, elderly, & incapacitated patients.
Dosage
Adults: 250-500 mcg diluted with 2-3 ml normal saline - up to 4 times daily.
Children: 250 mcg diluted with 2-3 ml normal saline - up to 4 times daily.
Duration of Action
Provides relief for up to 6 hours.
